This series of collages flows through water as an ever-shifting current that holds memory, brings about transformation, and imagines liberation across space and time. Throughout the Black diaspora, water has been a force of both destruction and creation, manifesting a violent site of trauma but also a promising source of protection. Each piece reclaims water as a space of futurity and creativity, as the past, present, and future collapse into imaginative visions of Black liberation.
